KUTE Honey body care series will be sold exclusively at “Seiseki Tsunagaru Marche” on December 17th and 18th.

Kogakuin University will sell the KUTE Honey body care series planned and developed by the student project for a limited time at the "Seiseki Tsunagaru Marche" held at Keio Seiseki Sakuragaoka Shopping Center on December 17th and 18th. (KUTE stands for Kogakuin University of Technology Engineering).

The event, which is held every Christmas season, brings together popular local shops. The hand soaps, hand creams, and bathing agents that are scheduled to be sold all contain honey, a natural moisturizing ingredient, and are products that bring moisture to the skin during this season when dryness is a concern.

The KUTE Honey body care series was planned and developed by students of the Honey Bee Project and the Science Create Project in collaboration with a cosmetics manufacturer. Beekeeping and harvested honey on campus is used as raw material, making it a skin-friendly product that makes the most of the material. It features a sweet scent of honey that invites relaxation and a moisturizing effect derived from natural honey. The honey has passed the standard values set by various inspection agencies, and we aimed to create products that take quality control and safety into consideration, from materials to manufacturing.

In August, it was sold to the general public for the first time at the same shopping center, and was well received by many people, who said, "The sweet scent of honey is soothing" and "The non-sticky texture makes it easy to use on a daily basis." Next to the sales booth, the Science Create Project set up a corner for scientific experiments, which was bustling with parents and children.

In response to requests for resale, this limited quantity sale has been decided. On the day of the event, the students will stand at the storefront and tell visitors about the appeal of the product and how the honey used in the raw materials is kept and harvested. We aim to create an opportunity for visitors to become interested in manufacturing and science in the process of picking up the product.
